Saphaus is a semi-independent living service for young people aged 16–24, offering safe, high-quality homes and personalised support to help them transition confidently towards independence. We provide an inclusive, nurturing environment where young people can develop essential life skills, build positive relationships, and unlock their full potential. Working in partnership with local councils, health and social care professionals, and community organisations, we deliver tailored care packages and robust risk management plans that ensure holistic support. At the heart of Saphaus is a commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and the voices of young people and their families—driving ongoing development and meaningful impact.
At Saphaus, our mission is to provide semi-independent living for young people, offering the right balance of autonomy, choice, and independence while ensuring support and guidance are always available when needed. Our service is designed for young people transitioning from full-time care into independent living. This includes young adults leaving foster care, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, young people with disabilities, and those recovering from addiction or mental health challenges.
